The starlings were squabbling, the sparrows chatted and called to each other, the long tailed tits swooped and flitted elegantly as they worked, the goldfinches danced in the blue skies, the song thrush sang to all who wished to listened and the woodpecker drummed in the background.

It's summer, that time of the year when the birds are busy from dawn until dusk.
They build their nests with skill and flourish, they wait patiently, they feed their young, they sing loudly about it all....
The woodland is alive with the sound of birdsong....
The colours of the box will be ...
Soft reds and pinks reflecting the flashes of colour from the long tailed tit and the goldfinch, greens for the woodpecker and greenfinches, black and white for the wagtails, soft caramels and warm browns for the song thrush, the sparrow and the wren.
The box will have a muted vintage feel rather than brights.
The drawstring pouches will be sewn by Sherry in beautiful Liberty of London tana lawns.

For 2025, The Foxglove Chronicles will delve deep into the daily life in Foxglove Wood through the eyes of one of the animals or birds. The boxes will contain beautifully hand dyed yarns, and handmade items in gorgeous fabrics.
