I do love a hydrangea...
I love them in full bloom and I love them dried to bring joy through the colder months.
Equally beautiful.
Petal Archives No.8: Hydrangeas!
A celebration of the pinkish plummy varieties with a view of them slightly fading ready for drying and starring in a wreath or vase for autumn and winter.
***
Hydrangeas! comes with 5 x 3g hand dyed threads on our silk base.
Actual pattern design measures approx 13cm diameter.
The pattern is printed onto a pure linen fabric.
There will also be a small square of pretty fabric included with your kit for inspiration.
For this month, there is the option to add on a drawstring bag.

Each month we look at the seasonal flowers and create a little floral wreath, designed by Christopher, for you to stitch.
We will be delving into the archives to discover a painting... a poem... or something interesting about our chosen flowers.
The patterns will be accessible for the beginner while being a joy for a more practised embroiderer.
Each month there will be a YouTube video of me stitching the wreath so you can see the stitches used.
Please note - you will need to provide the needle, scissors and hoop, should you choose to use one.
Happy stitching!
