🌸
Very much inspired by my weekly visits to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens in Kent. We lived minutes away and we took daily walks there in the grounds with our labrador Monty. We visited the gardens every week to see the changes as the gardens altered through the seasons.
One of my favourite gardens there was always the Cottage Garden, and this wreath is very much inspired by the glory of that wondrous clamber of flowers that would gladden my heart.

Alongside the celebration of delphiniums, the pattern also includes our love of hollyhocks and the serenity of solomon's seal.
🌿
Delphiniums! comes with 5 x 3g hand dyed threads on our silk base.
Actual pattern design measures approx 13cm diameter.
The pattern is printed onto a pure linen fabric.
There will also be a small square of pretty fabric included with your kit for inspiration.

Each month we look at the seasonal flowers and create a little floral wreath, designed by Christopher, for you to stitch.
We will be delving into the archives to discover a painting... a poem... or something interesting about our chosen flowers.
The patterns will be accessible for the beginner while being a joy for a more practised embroiderer.
Each month there will be a YouTube video of me stitching the wreath so you can see the stitches used.
Please note - you will need to provide the needle, scissors and hoop, should you choose to use one.
Happy stitching!
