The elegant nodding snake's head fritillary is the star of this month's Petal Archives embroidery. With its chequered appearance and graceful pose, the snake's head fritillary is an irresistible little flower to capture in stitch.
We have partnered this little flower with daisies. There are so many varieties of daisy and we have looked at the bellis daisy and marguerites.

No.3: Fritillaries & Daisies

Each month we will look at the seasonal flowers and create a little floral wreath, designed by Christopher, for you to stitch.
We will be delving into the archives to discover a painting... a poem... or something interesting about our chosen flowers.
The patterns will be accessible for the beginner while being a joy for a more practised embroiderer.
Each month there will be a YouTube video of me stitching the wreath so you can see the stitches used.
There will also be a small square of pretty fabric included with your kit for inspiration.
Fritillaries & Daisies comes with 5 x 3g hand dyed threads on our BFL/ silk base.
Actual pattern design measures approx 15cm diameter - slightly larger than Petal Archives No.1 & No.2

The pattern is printed onto a pure linen fabric.
Please note - you will need to provide the needle, scissors and hoop, should you choose to use one.
