There is a birthday celebration in Foxglove Wood and the birds are putting on a display!
The display was beginning.....
The first wave brought a colourful blue and yellow flurry of dips and waves from the blue tits. They seemed to cascade through the woodland and swooped over the glade before rising high and making their way towards the cottage. Their song followed along with them, drifting down to listening ears....

The Foxglove Chronicles are stories set in the late 1800s. In a little woodland next to Foxglove Cottage, a wonderful community of animals live together. Many of you may be acquainted with Copperfield - he is a friendly and cheeky young rabbit with a heart of gold. He lives in Foxglove Wood with his family in Dickens Burrow. His mother is a big fan of Charles Dickens and her children bear the names of some of her favourite characters....

This sweet embroidery depicting a blue tit among flowers is printed onto pure linen and comes with 5x hand dyed silk threads.
This stitch is accessible for the beginner stitcher while also providing a joyous stitch for the more experienced embroiderer.
Among the Flowers is an original design created by Christopher using botanicals. The pattern design measures around 14cm x 12cm.
There is also the option to add on either a mini box pouch or drawstring pouch sewn by Sherry - please note that the drawstring pouch has NO BOXED BOTTOM - both sewn in gorgeous buttery soft Liberty of London tana lawns. Simply select your choice from the dropdown menu.
