Cow Parsley Stitch-Along

So I have been promising a cow parsley stitch-along for a while now….

While we’re all spending more time indoors and not able to go out and see the cow parsley in the lanes for ourselves, I thought it had to be the perfect time to make the stitch-along happen.

I love the thought of people stitching away on something that joins us somehow at a time when we are separated from each other in the name of love. Some of you may know cow parsley better as Queen Anne’s Lace – whatever you may call it, this little stitch-along is in the name of the frothy gorgeousness that lines our lanes and hedgerows at this time of the year.

All that is needed for the stitch-along is some thread (please don’t worry if you don’t have embroidery floss, you can use general sewing thread with amazing results), some fabric (denim, an old pillowcase, a tired blouse, whatever you have to hand), a hoop would be wonderful but you don’t need it to stitch, a pair of sharp scissors and a needle. You can use a pencil to transfer the pattern if you don’t have a Frixion pen.

I’ve put a pdf link below for you to print out and use as a pattern. Sellotape the image to your window in daylight, hold your fabric in front and trace the pattern onto your fabric.
